Country: United States
Departure Airport: Marco Polo VCE
Arrival Airport: London-Heathrow LHR
Airline: British Airways
Flight Number: BA 0597
Lost Item unique feature: It is a silver, 9th generation iPad that was left in the seat back pocket in front of seat 8B. It has a dark blue case. The part of the case around the tablet is hard, blue, slightly transparent (you can see the iPad label through the back of the case). The flap on the front is a dark brown, soft, and feels a little bit like soft leather. They're are a few food strains/marks on that part of the case. Otherwise isn't any distinguishing damage. The tablet was new to me, so I haven't had a chance to change the lock screen wallpaper. When you push the home button, the lock screen is a choice from the stock wallpaper that comes with the phone. It is the black screen with colorful/overlapping shapes.
Location Details: On the Airplane
Additional Details: I realized that i inadvertently left my 9th generation iPad in a blue case in the seat back pocket of seat 8B (middle) on British Airways flight no. 0597 on 08 March 2024 on the delayed 08:15 flight from Venice Marco Polo (VCE) to London Heathrow (LHR). The inbound flight from VCE to LHR parked and deplaned in terminal 5. I realized at the security checkpoint at terminal 3 that I had forgotten to take my iPad when I exited the plane. By that point it was too late to turn around and go got it from the plane. The folks at the BA desk in terminal 3 gave me an email address to send my list item claim, rather than this form. Therefore, I sent a detailed email on 08 March 2024 as well. Please let me know if there is anything at all that I can do to help you find my lost tablet. I really appreciate your help!!
